I would like to take a moment to wish all my readers a happy Christmas in its deepest Christian meaning. With the Feast of St. Thomas of Canterbury a day closer, it may be an especially good time to (re-)read, -listen to, -watch Eliot’s Murder in the Cathedral (I see that the excellent audio version on Caedmon LP, and George Hoellering’s movie version are both available on YouTube) in the context of ‘Sorge’ and (astringent) encouragement.
